Amazon UK shopping addiction

Hello, 

Random and not so related to beauty or any of my previous post but something i would like to share & possible have discussion. 

This post is about Amazon. I find myself ordering atleast once every week (& as I have prime I get it next day delivered). It's sometimes more than once every week. Anyone else found themselves doing same? I don't hunt out for deals/anything I simply have something to order & order it. 

Most items are not for me they are either for relatives so sometimes it doesn't count. 

But yes I see myself especially since prime I have been ordering atleast twice a week if not once. & I must add that it could possibly be due to the occasional visits to HOTUKDEALS where I find either gifts/something at a low price to buy

So conclude with the following 

I am buying because of the thrill of next day delivery 

I am buying because of VISITING HUKD 

I am buying for others 

I am buying for myself

How long have you been using Amazon? I've only been using it since 2010(years gosh) but I haven't been as bad as I have this year with the addiction. 

What about you? Would you say you have an addiction?  

Rimmel KATE 08 lipstick

Hi,

I wanted to purchase the red shade from the rimmel Kate line but decided on going for the mac ruby red which I posted in a blog post. 

I haven't wore the lipstick yet so I will swatch it below. 

This shade seems similiar to the Lustering shade by mac. Especially when they are swatched.

The story behind the purchase..

Had seen the product being reviewed by Tanya Burr makeup guru on YouTube. She kept mentioning it was hard to find in UK and she was buying it from France this was a while back. Forgot about the product and then I remembered it so was searching around. Ofcourse the product is not available to buy locally such as boots, superdrugs or bodycare. So I had to order from online escentual.com, which was not cheap but really wanted to try it & as most gurus say you use small amounts anyways. 

I also recieved a little sample of another bioderma. (Purchased 23/10/2014). Bit late blogging have been busy with work. Got some spare time. Will update this post with how it's been since then. 

MAC lipstick splurges..

Hi, 

Finally I decided on getting some what I would call 'high end' lipstick compared to my Superdrug mua lipsticks. I did some informal research (watched YouTube makeup gurus) before purchase and went with two shades from the MAC range which would compliment my skintone. 

Russian Red & Lustering.

Sorry for the swatches, the red shade looks slightly orange which it is not. I like how it is matte and the other is slightly shiny like a lipgloss but the shade would go really well with NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss.

ELF Daily Brush Cleaner Review

Story behind the purchase..

I was buying some items from ELF a year ago I had never tried products from elf before so I purchased a few items. one has been my all time fave it doesn't count as a makeup item but it keeps my brushes clean. Over a year since the purchase now. 

ELF Daily Brush Cleaner  

I have been using this well try to every night on the brushes I have used during the day. I just feel better when I get rid off all the foundation and maybe germs/infections from one application. This will help prevent the germsfrom spreading   from one makeup application to another .

I feel this is important for me as I have sensitive skin some days but then some days I dont. So I need to make sure my brushes are cleaned. this product has recently come into very good use with my real technique brushes which I have reviewed in a previous blog post.

The method. 

i spray the brush and then on an white a4 paper i go back and forth as you would with a paint brush. This is the method i have been using. I love seeing the foundation come onto the paper. 

Has any one you guys tried this product?

Perfect Lip Combo NYX & MUA

Story behind the purchase..

I bought the NYX mega shine lipgloss from amazon uk. I bought the MUA lipstick in shade 11 while back from superdrugs (which seems to be OOS every time i look online on superdrugs). 

I found both of these working well together. so I thought I would share the combo with you all as well.

The NYX lipgloss is slightly lighter than the MUA lipstick so it works really well the combo. Will upload a pic of them together.

Moisturising when applied products especially the mua which for a £1 is a plus.
