ELF Daily Brush Cleaner Review

Story behind the purchase..

I was buying some items from ELF a year ago I had never tried products from elf before so I purchased a few items. one has been my all time fave it doesn't count as a makeup item but it keeps my brushes clean. Over a year since the purchase now. 

ELF Daily Brush Cleaner  

I have been using this well try to every night on the brushes I have used during the day. I just feel better when I get rid off all the foundation and maybe germs/infections from one application. This will help prevent the germsfrom spreading   from one makeup application to another .

I feel this is important for me as I have sensitive skin some days but then some days I dont. So I need to make sure my brushes are cleaned. this product has recently come into very good use with my real technique brushes which I have reviewed in a previous blog post.

The method. 

i spray the brush and then on an white a4 paper i go back and forth as you would with a paint brush. This is the method i have been using. I love seeing the foundation come onto the paper. 

Has any one you guys tried this product?

Perfect Lip Combo NYX & MUA

I bought the NYX mega shine lipgloss from amazon uk. I bought the MUA lipstick in shade 11 while back from superdrugs (which seems to be OOS every time i look online on superdrugs). 

I found both of these working well together. so I thought I would share the combo with you all as well.

The NYX lipgloss is slightly lighter than the MUA lipstick so it works really well the combo. Will upload a pic of them together.

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB mini review

Story behind the purchase..

I purchased the item from superdrugs as the offer was 2 for £10 making one £5. So I already had an idea by watching YouTube gurus and bloggers reviews about the BB aspects of foundation so thought hey why not give it a try. 

YouTuber? 

If you watch YouTube gurus then you would know recently gossmakeupartist did a quick demo/ review on the foundation which was positive.

About my skin..

I have sensitive/dry skin. 

Why i like the foundation..

Blends in really well. At first it gives a wet effect on the face but it just feels like you are applying your moisturiser but it has tinted with colour. It does cover however I have redness but doesn't cover it too much. So coverage wise is not too good. However i like that because I have dry skin it doesn't make my skin go patchy looking which I have noticed some foundations do. That's why I really liked this foundation for this reason only. 

Recommend..

I would recommend this to someone who just wants to put a tinted moisturiser with that extra foundation effect to the skin. I also see how it is targeted i those that wish to wear minimal makeup too.

Story behind the purchase..

I saw the product on superdrugs for £2.99 & thought hey why not if the other shades are £9.99. 

I was going to return if it wasn't the right shade but turned out to match as it blended into my akin time well. I doesn't have sparkles as I expected it to as it looked like it had glitter particles. 

I was pleased about this as I dislike it when the effect on the skin is glittery, as you can tell you have foundation on. atleast with matte foundation it looks less.

What I like about the product..

it has a runny consistency not too runny tho. 

Blenda well 

Pinky undertone 

Coverage plus 

I haven't played around with this product too much. But when I do I'll do a quick review again

Real Techniques Core Collection Brush Set

Story behind the purchase 

I was on hotukdeals and I came across a post on real techniques for £8.99 on amazon. I knew I had to buy them, as I have seen YouTube beauty gurus and read reviews about them.

there is only one brush which I use on a daily basis and it this one, for foudation application. I never follow the guidance provided on the leaflets on packaging regarding which brush is used for.

i like to get my own feeling out of the brushes.

Here is a pic of the buffing brush i use on a daily basis. I like how it gives me an airbrush feeling to my skin and coverage too in one go. also it gets into the corners too . I feel I can apply less foundation too.

I would say this one is my fave. My sister came round and she was in love when she used the brush. she told me to order it for her ofcourse she won't be getting it at the £8.99 price I did.

MAC Fix+ Simple Review on Use!

Story behind/about the purchase 

I was in the mac counter at Selfridges & decided to purchase the fixing spray. I had some weddings to go to so it came into good use.

Application 

I used the spray before apply my mac foundation and I felt the difference as it was a more wet feeling when applying, so there was an ease with application.

Effect 

Also it gave the foundation a dewy effect rather than a matte which I expect usually from mac studio fix fluid. However once it settles in. Its matte again.

I haven't used the fixing spray after application of makeup as I am scared it will ruin it.

MUA Haul 2- MUA STORE

Story behind the purchase..

I have never ordered from the mua online store, but I wanted to get brushes and new palettes instead of the normal ones found at superdrugs.

Why did I really purchase off mua store? 

Also, as it was spend £15 for free del. I decided I MUST order. I discovered not all the mua palettes are available at superdrugs. 

Britains next top model palette

I have seen a lot of advertising about this product so i had to get & it includes a large mirror built(you can see my hand) 

The bottom part pulls out to release the blushers and more eyeshadows. 

I love how you get blushers included ! Packaging is great as it slides out rather than layered ontop. 

MUA Brushes (eye) 

I was very eager to buy eyeshadow brushes my main mua store purchase reason was for buying brushes. Not tested them out but I just needed them. 

Pressed powder shade 2

Ofcourse the press powder, is a repurchase.

Matte lipstick totally nude

It isn't very moisturising when you apply like the other mua lipsticks which are not matte. The bottom part is the same where you can bite of the lid for a lip balm lipstick stain. I am a big fan of the lipstick shade 11 so if you've tried any from the normal range you'll know they are moisturising when applying on the lips ;) .

Flair eyelashes

These look very natural once worn will be doing more eyelash purchasing from mua range.
